We're located in Heidelberg, around 8 minutes from Macleod via Roseanna Road. The pool is at 113 Cape Street, there's some free on-site parking and if you're coming by public transport, we are just a 5 minute walk away.
What age can babies start swimming lessons?
Babies can start from around 3 to 6 months old. Our parent and child classes are designed for those very early stages, gentle, unhurried, and focused on helping your baby feel safe and comfortable in the water rather than rushing any particular skill. Many families find this age is actually the easiest time to start, before any water nervousness has had a chance to develop.
Is a mineral pool better for my child's skin?

Yes, and it's something we think about carefully. Our pool is quieter and smaller than a council learn-to-swim facility, which makes a real difference for children who feel overwhelmed by noise or crowds. Our instructors are used to working with children who need more time, there's no pressure to keep up with a group, and we'd rather a child leave the lesson feeling good about the water than tick a box. If your child has had a difficult experience elsewhere, it's worth getting in touch before you enrol so we can suggest the right class.
